To be eligible for the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4) scheme, you must meet the following criteria:
- Income: Have a gross annual household income of less than £31,000
- Benefits: Receive at least one of the following benefits:
- Income-based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
- Income Support (IS)
- Pension Credit Guarantee Credit (PCGC)
- Working Tax Credit (WTC)
- Child Tax Credit (CTC)
- Universal Credit (UC)
- Housing Benefit
- Pension Credit Savings Credit (PCSC)
- Child Benefit
- Health: Have a health condition that is made worse by living in a cold environment, such as:
- Cardiovascular problems
- Respiratory disease
- Limited mobility
- Immunosuppression
- Residence: Live in a private domestic premises that is in Energy Bands E to G. You can be a private tenant, homeowner, landlord/property owner, social housing tenant.
- Central heating: Do not have, and have not previously had, a wet central heating system.
